Been listening to a lot of classic NWOBHM lately - most notably Iron Maiden. This is the music video for their best single (so say the charts), "Run To The Hills," off their best album (in my mind), The Number Of The Beast.
It was a big genre in the 70's. Bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Dio were the early predecessors of Power Metal, which's golden years were in the 80's, and played heavy metal music with dual guitars and operatic vocals. Also was the predecessor of Glam, but we won't get into that...
